A lot of you have been asking to make a straw figure. This lady is a great introduction to how to put figures together which will allow you to go on and make your own designs. In this class we will make the straw lady, with her hat and basket and I will show you variations of this as we go. You will learn at least 4 different plaits which are useful in a variety of projects as well as in figure construction. The class is suitable for beginners as well as more advanced straw plaiters.
The class will take place via Zoom at 7pm GMT and will last approx. 2 hours. I will send you the link for the Zoom meeting the day before the class. I will then send out the recording of the class within a couple of days of the class, this means that you can still enjoy the class even if you are not available at 7pm on 16th May.
