Candle Wreath

In this workshop you will learn how to work with the 5 straw spiral plait and then go on to make a Candle Wreath for Christmas. The 5 straw Spiral is a traditional technique that we use in many straw work projects. A little bit of straw working experience would be beneficial but not essential. 

You can use your own materials or order a materials pack which will come with everything needed for 1 Candle Wreath (UK Delivery only). Please choose your preferences regarding materials and times in the above dropdown menu.

Materials required:

40 Fine/Medium straws, dampened
2 pieces of Florist Wire 18 guage 30cm length and 7cm in length
Strong Thread
Scissors
Measuring Tape/Ruler
Glue Gun and glue sticks or glue gel
Greenery, berries, cones etc. for decoration
25cm ribbon
25cm cord for hanger
Notebook and pencil

You can try to work along with me, or you can just watch and enjoy and after the workshop you will receive a recording of the workshop for you to play back while you make your piece.
