Luckenbooth

This workshop is suitable for those who have done a little plaiting although it is something a
beginner could tackle. You will have the chance to learn 2 or 3  different plaiting
techniques and use these to make the Luckenbooth design. It’s a great class to try out some
different plaits, techniques and ideas.

You can use your own materials or a materials pack can be sent to you (UK Delivery only).

Materials required:

40 Medium thickness straws, as long as you can find, with heads, dampened
2 x 15cm Florist wire 20/22 guage
Strong thread
Scissors
Measuring tape or ruler
Pin board (can be polystyrene or even a section from a cardboard box)
dress makers pins
Notebook and pencil

You can try to work along with me or you can just watch and after the workshop you will
receive a recording of the workshop for you to play back as often as you want while you
make your piece.
