These cones are so useful in straw work. I use mine to help shape Cornucopias or cone shaped baskets.  They are very lightweight so don’t affect your plaiting as a heavier cardboard cone might do. Turned upsides down and plaited around they can become straw Christmas trees or even help shape a straw lady’s skirt. You can use pins to help hold the cones in place as you work but I have found that they sit very nicely on their own. These cones can be used time and time again or can be left in your designs.  A great addition to your tool box.
